Is Drift Frenzy Really Easy to Play?

I used to think Drift Frenzy would be like other typical online racing games. Just play a few laps, and that's it. But after playing for a while, it was completely different, especially once I got used to the feeling of drifting at high speeds.

The game isn't overly focused on upgrades or customization. It's mainly about driving, cornering, and keeping the car from veering off the track. It sounds simple, but once the car starts sliding continuously, it's not as easy as I imagined.

Driving Feel in Drift Frenzy

What made me play longer than expected was the car control. Some corners look easy, but if you go too fast, the car spins sideways.

The automobile effortlessly navigates the bend when drifting at the proper speed. But if you turn too sharply, you lose control immediately. The game creates a feeling that's both frustrating and makes you want to replay to improve.

Some levels have quite narrow roads, making it easier to crash into barriers if you react slowly.

Game Controls

Drift Frenzy uses familiar controls, so there's no need to learn the buttons.

  • WASD or arrow keys to steer
  • Space to engage the handbrake
  • Shift to accelerate
  • R to replay

Sometimes, just the timing of pressing Space can completely change the drift angle.

The game isn't resource-intensive but is still quite engaging.

Drift Frenzy's graphics aren't super detailed. The tracks and cars are simple, but the speed during gameplay still feels quite good.

I like this type of game because you can play right away without needing to grind too much beforehand. Sometimes I just intend to try a few laps, but end up carefully watching each corner to get a higher score.

In addition, each beautiful drift feels quite satisfying, especially when keeping the car stable through many consecutive corners.

Sound and Speed of the Race

The engine sounds in the game are quite loud, especially when accelerating on long straight sections. The sound of the tires screeching during drifting also enhances the driving feel.

The fast pace of the game means there's almost no time to stand still. A moment of inattention can send the car veering off the track.

In summary:

Drift Frenzy is suitable for those who enjoy simple drift games but still require skillful control. The game isn't too difficult to start; however, to consistently achieve beautiful drifts, you'll need to practice a few levels. If you enjoy high-speed driving and continuous cornering, this game is quite easy to play for many more rounds.
